What is a Helical Pier?

Helical piers are a type of deep foundation support used in construction to stabilize and underpin structures. This can be particularly suitable in areas with unstable, weak, or wet soil.

It consists of a central steel shaft with one or more spiral-shape blades welded along its length, resembling a large screw. These helical coils allow the pier to be twisted into the ground using specialized hydraulic equipment, transferring the load of the building to deep stable soil layers with minimal disturbance to the surrounding area.

They are sized and torqued to spec for the load required. Helical piers go in fast without the delay of excavation, cure times, soil remediation, or bad weather. Start your construction project immediately after they go in. Install Today. Build Today.
